

What Is Your Focus?
Do you ever wake up
thinking….”life is passing me by”? Or do you wake up thinking “Wow, I feel so blessed & grateful”. Which do you think about moreDeveloping an attitude of gratitude… I heard this saying before, you may have also, but what does that really mean and what is in it for me?
I imagine you, like me, likes to feel successful… but did you know that gratitude is the success turbo charger? When you feel grateful for what you have and you focus on the good in your life… you like yourself more and so do those who you meet. You are not a draining person to be with … in fact, just the opposite. Gratitude is a great antidote to worrying.
I was told about a study that was done with a group of highly successful people. The research group interviewed the family and friends of these people to discover just how happy they actually were.
The research revealed that the happiest people were the ones that focused on how grateful they were with what they already had. The unhappy but financially successful people were focused on what they didn’t have yet and how far they had to go to get to where they wanted to be next.
The key to happiness is to be grateful for where you are in life and for what you do have.
Don’t put happiness on hold till you win the Lotto 649, till you retire, till you get the promotion, the raise, the car or boat, the trip or ???
Start by making a list of the people, the things, and the experiences that you are grateful for… and review it regularly. You will notice a change take place and so will your spouse and others in your sphere of influence.
